Familiarity Breeds Contentment

The old days of receiving a phone call from a wet drunk, going to his home, and detoxing him with booze, orange juice, and syrup, while telling him your pitch, are becoming a thing of the past. Most wet ones today end up in a treatment facility or a detox center. Some are referred to AA by the courts or other outside agencies.
