I Knew Alley Cats by Name

I used to hate the taste of beer when I was a kid. I didn't see how anyone could ever learn to like it, especially to like it the way all those people in TV commercials did. But when I first started drinking it (illegally, of course) I could hold down my beers two-for-one over my young drinking buddies--because I never stopped to taste the vile stuff. I'd leave my last swig in the can or bottle as I ditched each empty.
