My Heart Belongs to the River Rats

I've been sober for almost twenty-one years, and have been very active in Alcoholics Anonymous, from washing cups to being GSR. I've gone to meetings all over the state of California, and in other states when I travel. But my heart, as with most AA members, belongs to my home group, sometimes known as the River Rats. We are located across the river from Sacramento, California, in the small town of West Sacramento. Nineteen years ago we had one meeting a week in a room we rented from the Girl Scouts. Now we have over twenty meetings. Wow, the miracle of AA.
