One hour at a time

When I went to my second AA meeting I had eight days. I sat in the room with sweaty palms and I had the shakes and my bladder was on overdrive. I was told by my sponsor that it would be good to share at this meeting since I did not share at my first meeting. When I started to share I talked about how I was seeing shadows and how I had the shakes and how I couldn't take it one day at a time. One day at a time was too hard a gap for me to fill. So I explained how I had to take it one hour at a time, that was easier for me to handle. I started crying but went on to say how I knew I was on the right track, but I was scared out of my mind.
