What's the Point?
Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
One Saturday night, a few months after I had come into AA, my sponsor called me. He said that he had just received a call from New Jersey Intergroup and was going to pick up a guy that needed to go into detox. Did I want to go and how soon could I pick him up?
