I have been sober because of AA and God's love and patience since 1971. Over the years, there have been only two consistent things in my life. First, I have managed to stay away from one drink for one day. Second, I have always found the money to renew my Grapevine subscription (though some years, a friend generously renewed it "anonymously"). I have gone through periods when the articles bored me --guess who was dry! --and at other times have found the Grapevine to be a lifesaver. Mostly, I have been enlightened by the wisdom of so many.
