An Eye Toward Conservation

With the national economy in decline, I am looking and listening more carefully to some of the requests for "financial responsibility" coming from the AA service boards. Escalating rent, printing, mailing, and transportation costs, rising taxes, and increased use of services are reasons cited by the AA program to sanction requests for more money. This comes at a time when most wages are frozen, the value of money is declining, and many people are without income altogether.
