A Sober Mom

Do you have a new baby in your life? Are the ever-demanding little person's needs so high above your own that you frequently don't get to your regular meetings? Are you starting to feel the discomfort that comes with self-neglect--e.g., prayer and meditation constantly interrupted by baby's cries, exhaustion from nightlong feeding marathons leaving you cranky and confused, so absorbed in baby you forget to call AA friends and sponsor? If so, I know. I've been there too, and managed to stay sober. There is hope for you, too.
