I Am an Alcoolique

From the dusty balcony of my hotel room, I surveyed the massive walls of the oasis-city and its domes and graceful minarets framed by palm trees. Marrakesh! This was one of the places I had always hoped to visit, before my addiction to alcohol made even a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge a forbidding project.
