Journey to Japan

February found me walking through the doors of AA again. I had bounced in and out of those doors for several years and this time had been "out there" for the better part of a year. I had sunk lower than ever before, lower than I could have imagined. I had serious doubts about whether life was worth living. I thought, "I know people really do get and stay sober in that AA program. I've never thought one of those people could be me, but I've got to give it one more try."
