God put a man in my life early in 1979 who had the patience, understanding, and tolerance to deal with me as a self-centered, selfish, insensitive newcomer who would soon come to believe I had all the answers. Though we have not been geographically close these past few years, he will always be the man I remember lovingly as sponsor.
