My name is Joey and I am an alcoholic. I am writing from prison to share my experience, strength, and hope with you. I am in prison as a result of having a slip after four years in the program. What happened to me was that I forgot to keep my memory green. After a few years in the program, I was blessed with a totally new life--a good job, an AA wife, and a new AA son. I was GSR in my home group and doing very good. Only one thing though, I forgot where I came from.
