Chief Honcho

My name is Peggy and I'm an alcoholic. I am probably the most unlikely person in my district to speak on the subject of service since for the first eight years of my sobriety I did absolutely nothing. I had a beautiful excuse. My husband and I had a lake cabin in the interior of British Columbia and we spent most of the year there and traveled a good deal in the winter. So my stock answer to all requests was that I would love to do something, but I just wasn't available.
