Our slogan, "First Things First," has taken on critical meaning in the most mundane of my affairs. But I want you to know that it wasn't always that way. As a practicing alcoholic, I was extremely grandiose, and I knew that tomorrow I was going to put into action all of the plans and dreams that were swirling about in my fevered brain. But tomorrow only brought more of the same: drinking, remorse, more drinking, deeper remorse, and on and on, until I found the miracle of AA and took (please God!) my last drink.
