There's More to AA Than 'Fellowship'

It was only twenty months from my first drink to my last. I started out as a weekend drinker in junior high school. It was fun and I fit in for the first time in my life. Not long after, my friends got me to try some other drugs, and although I continued to use them from time to time, they didn't seem to interest me in the way alcohol did. From the first time I drank I was in love with booze, whether it came in a beer can, wine bottle, or hard liquor straight into the gut.
