Landing in Fletcher Creek

For many years I celebrated national holidays with typical alcoholic bravado. The day after, always painful, started with "just one drink" and ended in an alcohol-induced sleep. This year has been different, though, because now I'm sober. And on one particular day after a holiday, a turn in the road led me to new insights into the blessings of sobriety.
