Keeping the Memory Green

"The Road of Happy Destiny" was the theme of the latest roundup in my area, and for the first time in recent history, my feet were firmly planted on this road. I spent my time attending workshops and early morning meetings on the beach, hearing great speakers, dancing, and conversing with other recovering alcoholics who were happy to be sober. In the last year, I'd gotten involved at the area intergroup office, where I met many new people in the Fellowship. I felt happy, joyous and free, and wished others could feel that way, too.
