My first home group was named "The Endeavor Group." I still like that name. The originators wanted a name that would indicate an ongoing process, and living a sober life is certainly that. At one time, I was treasurer of the "Friday Nite Steps" group which the people at the bank thought was a square dance group. I never told them otherwise. I also helped start a group which ended up being called the "Misfits," which is a name I didn't like because I felt it had a negative connotation.
