A Life Reclaimed

It has been a little more than two years since my last taste of alcohol, thanks to the God of my understanding and the miracle I've experienced in the Fellowship of AA. Last summer, at about eighteen months of sobriety, I suddenly realized that working the program of AA was giving me much more than just staying dry. I was reclaiming, one by one, so many things that had been given over to alcohol. What a great discovery.
