I was profoundly touched by M.J.C.'s story in the October 1994 Grapevine, "Good Morning, Grandmother." It spoke to me at a very deep level--a spiritual, feminist, recovery level. Thank you, M.J.C.; the spiritual awakening of AA's Twelve Steps was very much like that for me, only it took me nine years, not nine months. But I kept coming back, kept working the Steps, and eventually it happened. Thank you, Mother/Father/Grandmother/ God!
