My name is Anna and I'm an alcoholic. I started drinking at fourteen and by the grace of God I sobered up ten years later. I never drank like a social drinker. The first time I drank I continued until I blacked out. Right away, I drank to get drunk. I woke up sick, throwing up, and not remembering much about the night before. Yet I was excited and looking forward to the next time I could get drunk again.
