I try to attend AA meetings on a daily basis even though I am coming up on nine years of sobriety. But due to the fact that I caught bronchial pneumonia, I was only able to attend one meeting in four weeks. In talking with a couple of my friends, I told them how I missed the meetings and people. They made arrangements to hold a meeting in my home. I expected two or three people to come. That evening I was astounded to see eleven recovering alcoholics come through the door.
