Woodstock II

The bands rocked, the fans rocked, and I rocked. The rains fell, the people got wet, and I got wet. The drugs and alcohol flowed like the rains coming down, the majority of the crowd got drunk or stoned, and I stayed sober. After over eight years of being clean and sober, I attended Woodstock II with some fear and reservations. Sure, the brochure had stated that "no alcohol would be brought in or sold," but I remember my old drinking days, and that would have been nothing more than a challenge. But having missed the first Woodstock indirectly because of my drinking, I decided I owed it to myself to go to the second.
