When I attend meetings for the purpose of giving back what I have received, I will never be open to the deception of excuses for staying away. For, no matter how bad the coffee is, or how lousy the speaker, I can always fulfill my purpose for being there. I can give--even if it's just an attentive ear or an extra tight hug.
