No Time for Recovery

Sitting in the peaceful embrace of an AA meeting, aggravation can sometimes set in when the speaker gives hardly any time to sharing about recovery. Such was the case last evening at our Step meeting. After reading the Step under discussion, we were skillfully entertained by our leader with dramatic drinking episodes made comic through amusing anecdotes and ironic asides. However, most everyone was so delighted by the charm of the speaker that almost no one seemed to notice what Step we were on.
