Out of the Ashes

I remember the first time I walked into the little AA meeting place in my neighborhood. It wasn't my first AA meeting, but I felt something I had never experienced before in this little place so close to home. It had a real country atmosphere with wood-paneled walls and a small coffee bar with a lounge area. It was such a friendly place.
