Photo Op

The Grapevine's request for photographs of meeting places ["If Walls Could Talk," June 1995] took me back to the early days of my sobriety. Reentering the workplace (and reality) in 1980, I moved to a suburb of Los Angeles and signed up for photography classes as well as part-time work in a university extension program. And I went to meetings every day, some days more than one.
