New Lessons in Life
On December 20, 1990, my husband (sober eighteen years) and I (sober sixteen years) attended a black tie party in a huge ballroom. I was to receive recognition for a job promotion along with several others. In attendance were some three hundred people. Life had been just wonderful for my husband and me, due exclusively to AA and our belief in and dependence on a Higher Power.
