Perfect Timing

This is a story about the day my grandfather was buried. When I celebrated my first year of sobriety in the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous, my grandfather called to congratulate me and told me he had gone fifty years without a drink. I always looked up to my grandfather, and this new revelation was another piece of hope for my new and fragile sobriety.
