A Saying for All Seasons

An old drinking buddy introduced me to the AA slogans as we were driving home on the Connecticut Turnpike. Flying low in the fast lane, squinting into the setting summer sun, we passed a car with a bumper sticker that read "Easy Does It," and Jim remarked, "There's a sober drunk."
