Squeak, Squeak, Squeak

This AA was driven to the point of surrender by the incessant squeaking of her windshield wipers

When I first came into the Fellowship in June 1992, I could quit drinking anytime I wanted--I just couldn't stay quit. Maybe I was powerless over alcohol, but my life wasn't unmanageable. In fact, I had a glamorous job and made lots of money; I was the single mother of a beautiful and healthy daughter; I owned my own home; my car was paid for and ran well; and I was a deacon in my church. In short, I had everything I'd ever wanted. But I was miserable.
