Back in the spring of 1965 I phoned AA for help with my drinking problem. I did this after I'd gone to my family doctor for help and tried faith healing in a church for nearly a year. Up until today, July 13, 1995, AA has worked every day. I suppose it will continue to work so long as I continue to follow the program as best I can.
