A letter in the June issue made reference to a group that had "too damned much money" and how the group secretary decided to anonymously give the extra money to the church where the group held its meetings. As a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I'm disappointed that money dropped in the basket would go toward any cause other than carrying the message.
