I got sober in Denver over nine years ago and came to Nepal two years later. My plan had been to travel in Asia for six months, but a job fell into my lap and by listening to that small inner voice, I knew to take it. It was new for me to follow my intuition like that. It was a huge step to give up all of the security and familiar comfortable life in America. But the faith I had was strong. It was the right thing to stay in Nepal.
