Everything happens for a reason
My alcoholism led me to be housed in a Northern Virginia county jail. In this particular jail there was a substance abuse treatment dorm which used the suggestions of AA. Like many inmates, I entered the treatment dorm so it would look good when I went in front of the judge. I thought this would be the quickest way to freedom--and a drink!
