I've been in prison for five years now. A little over four years ago I recognized that alcoholism and self-will had placed me in here. I also realized that I hadn't drank or used drugs in almost a year, but I still felt very bad about a lot of things. This is what brought me to my bottom and the truth about myself--that my alcoholic behavior was continuing despite my being sober.
