Can You Drink for Just One More Day?

At the end of my drinking, I woke up, drank as much as I could as quickly as I could, passed out for a few hours, woke up and did the same thing again. I was paralyzed in my basement apartment, suffering from physical and mental illness. In between vomiting, bleeding, and wetting myself and my bed, I'd make it to the couch, where I'd hide from the rat I thought was out to get me. I could hear him squealing but I couldn't get up to kill him. At one point, on a run to the fridge for another forty-ounce beer, I saw his tail sticking out from underneath the sink, but when I went to step on it, it was gone.
