Passing It On
Theo T. lives in Oakland, California, and has been very active on the H&I committee, which uses the Grapevine and La Viña to carry the AA message to those who are confined in prisons, hospitals, recovery facilities, etc. Theo was interviewed by
Theo T. drank for forty-seven years. He tried to get sober three or four times before finally getting sober fourteen years ago. In the beginning, he tells us, he could not stop drinking because he did not pay attention to the Steps, he did not have a sponsor, and he did not become involved in the Fellowship.
