Human sobriety

I recently heard a woman with ten years of sobriety, say how she used to think that, by the time she had reached a certain point, she would "have it all together." It got me thinking how I used to feel the same way. I remember sitting in a meeting with about three months of sobriety, listening to a woman with quite a few years sharing about how angry she was that day. I sat there and thought, "I don't want what she has. I hope I'm better off than that by the time I'm sober awhile."
