Childlike Faith

If I'd been asked about anything "spiritual" before coming to the rooms of AA, the subject would have gone right over my bald head. I was very busy hanging out in my insane ego, trying to relive the past and project into the future. I never, ever, stopped to consider living in the now. I was too busy believing that I'd created myself and that the direction of my creation was up to me (and that the direction of your creation was up to me as well). In short, I was completely on my own.
