Distilled Spirits

Through the Grace of God, the Fellowship of AA, and by working the Twelve Steps, I have a new life today. I have serenity where there was turbulence, humility where there was self-deception, forgiveness where there was vindictiveness, fellowship where there was isolation, compassion where there was self-importance, a choice where there was enslavement, order where there was chaos, hope where there was despair, understanding where there was anger, enthusiasm where there was apathy, charity where there was greed, and God where there was a void.
