We Are Family

In the March 1997 issue, the Grapevine asked for articles reflecting the diverse experience of minorities in AA. We received a number of responses and are happy to publish a representative sampling in the pages that follow. These writers give us a window on AA's diversity while reaffirming the unity that springs from our common bond of alcoholism. As one writer puts it, no matter who we are or where we come from, we AAs are "family."
