The Old Heave-ho

Knowing that I was sober and in AA, my boss came to me one day and asked me to give a fellow employee a ride home from work. This man had been drinking on the job and couldn't be trusted behind the wheel of a car. I agreed to give this guy a ride, but I wondered what to do if the subject of drinking came up. At only five months, I was in no condition to twelfth-step a drunk by myself.
