Something Revolutionary

I had my first blackout at the age of six. I was born into a family of alcoholics--an alcoholic father, an alcoholic mother, and alcoholic uncles--and my childhood memories are full of images of alcohol. My parents drank daily and neglected us children. Their quarrels ensured that we didn't have the peace, parental love, and nurturing needed for our growth.
