Today Could Be the Day

I can't seem to pinpoint any one best day in sobriety. Perhaps it was my first AA meeting, when I admitted I was an alcoholic? Or perhaps it was sometime in that first year, when I walked out of Leon's Barber Shop and had the oddest feeling that I belonged just where I was? That was a feeling I'd never had in my forty-five years; because I'd always felt that I belonged somewhere else.
