A way to measure serenity
Early in my sobriety I got angry at my wife and stormed out of the house. Instead of going to a bar, I went to the AA clubhouse where I found my sponsor sitting at a table. I turned the air blue with profanity and when he asked what was wrong, I told him, "That !#$*! tried to tell me how to hang a curtain rod."
