Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles...
In the minds of most AA members, practicing the Twelfth Step consists almost wholly in carrying the message to other alcoholics. Yet the Step, as formulated by our first one hundred members, does not stop there.
