Sometimes I hear that "a drug is a drug is a drug." To the people who say that, my response is, "The next time you get malaria, try taking polio vaccine instead of quinine." I have alcoholism. I need to identify and share with other recovering alcoholics in order to stay sober. If I need an ambulance, please do not send the ice cream truck because "a ride is a ride is a ride."
