The Turning Point

As I tearfully waited by the phone for the police to call, I asked myself over and over, "How did I let this happen?" The anguish and the torment of not knowing grew moment by moment. I would have prayed but I didn't know how. I would have held someone's hand but I was all alone. Little did I know that the pain I was experiencing would be the motivation for me to find the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous.
