Distilled Spirits

I've been sober for twenty years and a lot has happened in that time, but the greatest and most consistent gift has been sobriety itself. Sobriety is the stabilizing factor, the constant we hold on to, the gift to be kept shiny, the miracle to ponder, the treasure to be grateful for and to share with the new person. The message is: "We don't drink here in AA and we invite you in, to partake of the good news."
